Maine Production Safety Guidelines
The Maine COVID-19 Production Safety Forum was an association made up of commercial, documentary, film, and photography professionals working on the homeland of the people of the Wabanaki Confederacy, known also as Maine. A Forum of Maine based professionals was held help ensure the health and safety of our industry workers, and the community around us, by having a collective understanding of how to work during this pandemic.
The Maine COVID-19 Production Safety Forum Guidelines provides methods for establishing measures for contagion prevention during film, commercial, documentary, photography, and media production. This document is a culmination of The Association of Independent Commercial Producers, European Film Commission Network, Alliance of Motion Pictures and Television Producers COVID-19 guidelines, as well as the Maine production community.
The document is intended to provide information on the baseline safety precautions and set procedures to mitigate the spread and contraction of COVID-19. The Maine COVID-19 Production Safety Forum Guidelines are an overview of best practices, and not be applied in any manner as legal advice or legal opinion.
